Sunday Morning FFPN Bible Study

God gives husbands and wives a to-do list of two items: Love & respect. This may sound simple, but it is not easy. Join us beginning Sunday August 13 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. to participate in a new bible study based on Dr. Eggerichs’ popular book and live conference. We meet in Room 106, and look forward to seeing you there!

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Beginning August 13 the Sunday Morning Bible Study will be on the book of Psalms. In the center of the Bible is the book of Psalms. This great collection of songs and prayers expresses the heart of and soul of humanity. In them, the whole range of human experience is expressed. The writers’ honest cries of despair and the joy they discovered in God’s everlasting love and forgiveness continue to bring comfort to lives today. Join us as we spend some time with the Psalmists and let the honesty of these writers guide you into a deeper relationship with God.

SBLC Installs New Organ

July 30th marked a special day in the history of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School. On this day, a new 3 manual Rodgers Infinity 361 digital organ was dedicated to the Glory of God. After months of anticipation, the new organ was delivered and installed beginning July 23rd and was finished later that week. The church’s old organ, an Allen computer organ, was installed when the Sanctuary was built in 1979 and was at the beginning stages of needing expensive repair. In October of 2016, through connections with the organ dealer, a sizeable donation was made to the church to expedite the purchase of the new organ. The church plans to hold a special series of concerts and recitals through the year, including a Dedication Recital and Workshop by the concert organist, Dan Miller, on October 21st and 22nd. The old church organ was donated to New Hope Lutheran Church in Ossian, Indiana as their old organ terminated due to a lightning strike.  It was installed August 3rd and was dedicated on Sunday August 6th.

All woman are invited to eat out together for fun and fellowship. The next 7 at 7 restaurant opportunity for women will be on September 7th at 7 PM.  We will be meeting at BJ Restaurant and Brewhouse close to Glenbrook Mall.  The address is 245 W Coliseum Blvd. See you there!

Women's Ministry Meeting

Women's Ministry will be having their next planning meeting on September 18th at 7:00 PM, room 105 in the school, to continue planning the Octoberfest.  Please join us.
